Alternative approaches to health and wellness have been a thread throughout Meg’s life. Since she was very young, her family has found creative ways to work with the medical model’s diagnosis. By the time Meg was twenty her mother had gone through three spine surgeries to treat Neurofibromatosis, her brother had brain surgery, her father had been diagnosed with type four cancer, and Meg herself had been diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis. If Meg’s family had listened solely to the medical model’s diagnosis and treatment, they may not all be here today.

Through these challenging experiences Meg became inspired and driven to dive deeper into her training into alternative healing modalities and reflect on her own spiritual path. It was through psychotherapy, Emotional Freedom Technique sessions, meditation, and Soul Clearings that Meg began to develop perspective on the spiritual growth and soul learning which was connected to physical and emotional hardship.
